I'm a Montessori teacher and Mama. I help parents and educators save time, learn more about Montessori, feel confident, and learn how to best meet their children's needs.
How did I get here? After getting my degree in traditional elementary education, I discovered Montessori and taught in both public and private Montessori schools across the US. When it was time to become a mother, I wanted to take what I had learned in my decade of experience and apply it to my own family. Now, almost another decade later, I want to bring Montessori philosophy back to its roots and make it more accessible and less overwhelming for you.
Now, I’m a Montessori consultant for parents and educators. I’ve worked with hundreds of families and thousands of children- as well as my own- and want to help you to feel confident in your own abilities.
Here’s how we can work together:
Prepare your Environment
For parents and teachers, work virtually or in-person for playroom, home, or classroom preparation and organization.
Education Coaching
For parents and new teachers, work virtually or in-person for lesson, curriculum, or behavior guidance—problem-solve with an expert Montessorian and mom.
Digital Resources
For parents and teachers, access printable works, materials, and organizational tools to help make your life easier.
What people are saying:
“Kari has made all the difference in our homeschooling experience. She took us from a place of overwhelm to thriving in our learning journey. With her extensive knowledge and experience, in addition to thoughtful communication with me about our family, she put us on a successful path tailored to our childrens' specific needs and interests. And, her enthusiastic support has made me feel confident in my homeschooling role. She is extremely responsive, positive, and full of fantastic ideas and expertise. We couldn't have gotten to this place in our homeschooling journey without her.”

1. I love the great outdoors.
Yearly camping trips? Yes! Gardening? Sure! Ocean? ALWAYS.
Snakes and spiders don’t scare me one bit (although we don’t really have many poisonous ones here in Connecticut, to be fair.) I’m the one squatting on the ground calling my boys over to look at some cool bug.
Allergy season? You’ll find me indoors a little bit more- boo.
2. Hand me that hammer.
Long before Chip and Joanna took over the DIY space and added shiplap to everything, my husband and I were renovating and flipping houses together. It was more out of necessity (we had to live in one home during its rags to “riches” story), but I’m very familiar with framing, mudding, and installing wood floors.
My favorite part? Making a house a home and coming up with a design conducive to children’s independence (who would have guessed?)
